Treads and Threads

University of Kansas Health Systems - Community Impact - Kansas City, Missouri

Treads & Threads is a party with a purpose. For more than 20 years, this glamorous black tie evening under the stars has raised more than $17 million to expand and improve cancer care for patients at The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

Each year this event features local eats and entertainment to help guests celebrate the cause. The heads of the health system tell the story of how the contributions support world-class patient care. The connection between the event and its impact have made it an annual success.

Our team produces the entire event from the ground up. The magic makers coordinate talent, sponsors, eats and drinks, photo opportunities, tent locations, decorations, and every little detail for each of the 4,000 attendees to celebrate the fundraising

Smithfield's Get Grilling America

National Product Tour

Bring together celebrity pitmasters, BBQ enthusiasts, and thousands of Smithfield’s ribs, and you have the Get Grilling America tour. The ribs were cooked low and slow but the tour wasn’t.

Our team developed and managed the national product sampling tour with stops in 20 markets. At each stop, the Smithfield team showcased their Fresh Pork, connected with grocers and distributors, and shared BBQ tips and tricks with attendees. From these events, Smithfield added thousands of consumers to its loyalty program, strengthened its relationship with competition pitmasters, and created a memorable experience with potential customers.

Parade of Hearts

Community Impact - Kansas City Metropolitan Area

Parade of Hearts takes everyday experiences and turns them into a chance to celebrate diversity, unite communities, and support local nonprofits. Each year, local artists from the Kansas City area design beautiful KC hearts for this event.

During the Parade of Hearts residents and visitors alike experience the heart of Kansas City by seeing their communities come to life. It’s more than looking for hearts, it’s getting to know a city. From event strategy and heart logistics to press and parade operations, our team gets to celebrate this city we call home. We produce and manage kickoff, liaison for all artists, manage design submission process, and work with the manufacturer to deliver the hearts to artists and then to owners.

The Plaza Lighting

The holidays in Kansas City don’t begin until the Plaza Lights are twinkling. The lights have been a local tradition for more than 90 years, with each year an opportunity to bring a community together and create memories that last a lifetime.

With 15-blocks of thousands of glimmering, jewel-colored lights that accentuate every dome, tower, and window of the Spanish-inspired shopping district, this holiday lighting is a spectacle. Many families in the area close out their Thanksgiving by attending or watching the broadcast. Curating a production of local entertainers to ring in the holiday season is our job, but for the community that gets to see it, it is an unforgettable memory.

We recently completed our third year of managing the event, stage production, lighting, and audio, as well as curating and managing the event entertainment and run of show the night of the event. And the most important part – curating the celebrity or local dignitary that will flip the switch and kick off Kansas City’s holiday season.

The Downtown Council Annual Luncheon

The Downtown Council Annual Luncheon is the organization’s signature event. Day after day they work tirelessly to ensure Downtown Kansas City is a safe and vibrant place to work, play, and live. The luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate Downtown Kansas City and the efforts of the organization.

The event traditionally sells out and includes an audience of 1,000 like-minded individuals invested in the success of Downtown. Because they are so invested in the city, we turn the room and event into a celebration of all Kansas City has to offer. We handle room design, catering, programming, script writing, and show production. Attendees taste local favorites, meet active members of the community, visit over 50 exhibitors, and hear all about the great things in their city. It’s basically a giant pep-rally for the city that our community looks forward to every year.

The Plaza Art Fair

Over the last decade the Plaza Art Fair has put momentum behind the careers of artists in the Midwest. Hundreds of artists apply for the chance to exhibit their creations in this three-day event. It draws attendees from all over the area to enjoy everything from food, live music, art pieces, and shops.

We’re the dream makers who make the space. Our team manages the application, selection and coordination of artists, while organizing and running the logistics of the tent rentals, sponsors, and the onsite parties. This event is an opportunity to showcase talent and see memories made, all things we love doing.

The Premiere Art Fair in the Midwest. Enjoy the creations of 240 juried artists, dine with 10+ different restaurants, listen to live music from 3 different stages, and shop 100+ stores.

MMG National Sales Meeting

MMG is taking a different approach to real estate brokerages, one that’s collaborative and values connection. The bring their team together each year at an event designed to build relationships, celebrate wins, and prepare for the year to come. MMG’s National Sales Meeting is where their brand comes to life for their team. Every experience from the moment they walk in the room is curated and executed to inform, excite, and mobilize their team. Our team handles the room design, catering, programming, script writing, call of show, and production of these impactful events.

MultiVac 35th Anniversary Event

Corporate - Kansas City, Missouri

For more than 60 years, MULTIVAC has been one of the leading manufacturers of packaging machines. So when it came time to celebrate 35 years of the North American Headquarters, it was an opportunity for long loyal and newly recruited employees and partners to see everything they have to offer stateside.

Our team got to work with the Germany-based MultiVac Group to manage the event and bring the top-notch standard they are known for to life at the event. We led hospitality management, room design, catering, and product demonstrations.

Associated Wholesale Grocers AIO Ribbon Cutting

Corporate - Hernando, Mississippi

Associated Wholesale Grocers is our nation’s largest food wholesaler. When they opened their $300 million dollar automated distribution center, it was cause for celebration. Not only was this new facility a feather in the cap of Associated Wholesale Grocers, but the economic impact of the distribution facility on the local community meant opportunities for the Hernando community.

The event featured the board of directors, the Mayor of Hernando, and the Governor of Mississippi to celebrate this historic facility and the bright future ahead.
