Our main offices are in Kansas City, Mo. but we take incredible pride in our experienced event management team based throughout the country. The result? Evenergy is recognized by clients for its Midwestern values combined with the mindset and innovation of a big-city agency.

Branden Connolly launched Evenergy in 1999 after longtime friend and baseball legend George Brett asked him to produce events surrounding his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Since then, Branden has helped execute and manage hundreds of events in Kansas City and throughout the country.
During his career, Branden participated in the Kauffman FastTrac Program, The Leadership Forum Executive Group and served on the advancement committee at Rockhurst High School. Branden enjoys being a husband, dad and mentor to his three daughters. He is active in his church and sports, as well as hacking away on the golf course.
Lucky story: Branden was fortunate enough to be sitting across from George Brett when he received his acceptance call from the Baseball Hall of Fame.
David joined Evenergy in 2011 as a partner and director of sponsorship and event marketing. He brings more than 20 years of experience working with brands and properties such as Sprint; Farmland and Smithfield Foods; the City of Kansas City, Mo.; NFL; NBA; NHL; and numerous events and festivals throughout the country.
Prior to Evenergy, David was the director of sales and marketing for the Kansas City Chiefs and a senior supervisor at advertising agency VML. When he’s not partnering with his Evenergy clients, David enjoys coaching lacrosse and spending time with his family.
“How-cool-is-this” story: David was lucky enough to be among a small group of travelers serenaded by world famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma while they were both stranded at Newark Airport several years ago.
Johnny has a passion for event management and has lost count of the long list of event and brand partnerships he’s managed throughout his career. His focus has been on the creation of immersive and storytelling experiences for properties and brands.
Client and project highlights include: Avon Breast Cancer Walks, The Walking Dead Escape (yes, he did create a Zombie Apocalypse at Petco Park during Comic-Con for the popular TV show), Ruckus Obstacle/Mud Runs, Main Street America Historical Preservation and Smithfield’s Get Grilling America national tour.
True story: Johnny is one of the leading experts on surviving a zombie apocalypse.
With an emphasis on partnership marketing, Ann has more than 20 years’ experience in all things event, sponsorship and promotions management. Prior to Evenergy, she was managing director at GumboLive, a creative think tank founded by Momentum Worldwide and MediaBrands. Earlier, she was vice president for creative partnerships and content innovation at NBCUniversal. Ann’s worked in all aspects of client, agency and talent relations from contract negotiations and concept development to project management. Her client and project highlights include the MLB, Coca-Cola, Monster, Volvo, McDonald’s and Unilever.
Origin story: When Ann was 19 she took a trip to New Orleans. The city spoke directly to her love of music and passion for living life to the fullest. She now calls the Crescent City home and has enjoyed The New Orleans Jazz Festival for 30 consecutive years.
